Portrait of Jingtian Ji
PhD Student · Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago

I’m a PhD student in robotics and machine learning, where I work on teaching robots to learn skills from interaction and demonstration. I care about methods that are not only clever on paper but actually hold up on real hardware in the messy real world.

This is placeholder copy — replace it with your own story. Talk about how you got into the field, what questions keep you up at night, and what you’re hoping to do next. A paragraph or two in your own voice goes a long way.

When I’m not training policies, I’m usually behind a camera. The same instinct that draws me to robotics — paying close attention to how the world actually behaves — is what I love about photography.
